Fareplay Cart Operator Reference Card
Everything you need to know to start your shift, serve golfers, and close out your day. Keep this handy for your first few shifts.

Log In
- Open the Fareplay app on your phone or tablet
- Enter the employee credentials provided by your manager
- Allow location permissions when prompted (required for GPS navigation)
- If you forget your password, ask your admin to reset it

Start Your Shift
- Tap Go Online to begin accepting orders
- Set your cart status: Available, Busy, or Restocking
- Verify your cart inventory is loaded and matches the app
- Your location is now visible to golfers on the course

View Incoming Orders
- New orders trigger a push notification with a sound alert
- The order queue shows all pending orders sorted by proximity
- Each order displays: items, golfer name, hole number, and distance
- Tap an order to see full details and accept it

Navigate to the Golfer
- After accepting, tap Navigate for GPS directions on the course map
- The map shows the golfer's real-time location on the course
- Estimated arrival time updates as you drive
- The golfer can see your cart approaching in their app

Process Payment
- Tap Complete Order when you deliver the items
- Card: Tap or insert the card using the attached reader
- Cash: Enter the amount received; the app calculates change
- Pre-paid: In-app orders are already charged; just confirm delivery
- Receipts are sent to the golfer automatically via the app

End Your Shift
- Complete or transfer any remaining orders in your queue
- Tap Go Offline to stop receiving new orders
- Review your shift summary: orders completed, revenue, and tips
- Report any inventory shortages or cart issues before logging out
