How Fareplay Works

Golfers download the Fareplay app from the App Store or Google Play. Quick setup gets them ready to order in seconds.

The full menu appears with photos, descriptions, and prices. Golfers add items to their cart, select modifiers (extra ice, no lime, etc.), and review their order.

The app uses GPS to automatically detect the golfer's location on the course. This tells the cart operator exactly where to deliver.

Payment is processed securely through Stripe. Golfers can save their card for faster checkout next time.

The cart operator receives the order instantly and heads to the golfer. Golfers get a notification when the cart arrives.

Before each shift, cart operators enter what they have loaded on the cart.

Every time an order is placed, inventory counts update automatically. No manual tracking required — the system knows exactly what has been sold.

When items run low, the cart operator and managers receive alerts. You set the thresholds — get notified when you are down to 5 beers or 10 waters.

Review historical data to see what sells and when. Know that Saturdays need 40% more beer than Tuesdays, or that the back nine sells more snacks.

Golfers pay directly in the app using Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover. Cards are saved securely for one-tap checkout on future orders.

Cart operators can also process payments at the cart using the POS mode. Accept credit cards, cash, or charge to a member account.

Tip options are built into checkout. Golfers select a tip percentage or enter a custom amount. Tips are tracked per cart operator for easy payout.

Funds are deposited to your bank account automatically. Standard deposits arrive in 2 business days. Instant deposits are available for an additional fee.
